PANCHAKARMA:
VAMANA
Emesis Therapy, involves controlled medically induced vomiting. It is aimed to eliminate excess Kapha Dosha It is not advisable to give this treatment to children, the elderly, pregnant women or people suffering from tuberculosis or hepatitis. Both internal and external oleation are done with medicated ghee or oil before the treatment. The patient follows a special diet, avoids loud speech and exposure to sunlight, and takes adequate rest after the treatment.
VIRECHANA
Purgation therapy, is the elimination of toxins from the body using herbal laxatives, to expel harmful Pitta dosha. Both internal and external oleation are done with medicated ghee or oil. This should be done before the treatment. The patient follows a special diet, avoids loud speech and exposure to sunlight, and takes adequate rest after the treatment.
VASTI
Vasti (Enema) treatments are extremely effective in curing Vata ailments and elimination of toxins from the lower GIT, also gives strength to Nervous system.
Niruha Vasti and Anuvasana Vasti - that are administered according to the patient's body condition and treatment requirements.
Anuvasana Vasti is Enema Therapy using medicated oils. The colon is where Vata primarily resides and this procedure revitalizes the lower intestinal tract.
Niruha Vasti: It differs from Anuvasana Vasti primarily in its use of kashaya, or special herbal decoction. For this reason, it is also called Kashaya Vasti.
NASYAM
Medicaments are instilled into the nose to treat conditions of the head and neck region. an effective therapy in various headaches, nasal allergies, sinusitis, frequent attacks of common old beneficial in hair fall and greying of hair.
